Mothers
Day
We will have 2 morning services (9am & 11am)
on Mothers Day, May 11th. Our elective Bible
Studies will be from 10:10am to 10:50am and there
will be no PM service. Please make note of the
changes and dont miss this special day.
We will be honoring all mothers present with a
special gift.
Armed
Forces Appreciation Day
We
will be paying tribute to all American service
men and women on Sunday, May 18th, 10:30am.
Dave Roever, a Vietnam veteran with an outstanding
testimony of survival and courage, will be
our guest minister on Sunday, May 18th, in
the AM service. He will be accompanied by
a young veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.
You don't want to miss it. All service men
and women are invited to wear their military

Speaker
Missionary Richard Boettiger will be speaking
in the Adult Bible Study this Wednesday, May 7th,
in the Auditorium. He and his family are missionaries
to Germany. Come and be blessed.
Men's
Retreat
All men, 17 and up, are invited to be a part of
the 2008 Men's Retreat at Trinity Pines (Trinity,
Tx). Transportation will leave NC on Friday, May
16th, at 10am and return on Saturday, May 17th,
at 2pm. Rev. Josh Long, Outreach and Assimilation
Pastor at Braeswood Assembly, will be bringing
our devotions. The cost is $40 per person which
includes 2 meals, lodging and transportation.
Only 40 spots available. The deadline is Sunday,
May 11th. It is going to be a great time so make
plans to attend. Pick up a flier on the Events
Table for detailed information.

Bible Series
Pastor Larry will resume his series on "Courage"
on Wednesday, May 14th. Come, bring your Bible

Graduates
Reception
We will be hosting a reception in honor of our
High School graduates after the PM service on
Sunday, May 25th. Pastor Aaron asks that all graduating
seniors, or parents of graduating seniors, pick
up a grad info sheet at the Events Table, fill
it out, and return it to him by Sunday, May 11th.

the Troops Rally
Jerry Woolsey and Eric Story would like to invite
everyone out to the Military Museum of Texas (8611
Wallisville Rd, Houston) on Saturday, May 24th,
to show support for our American soldiers. There
will be singing, special speakers, and a silent
auction to raise money for families who have lost
loved ones in action. Make plans to be a part.
A Note To Parents
Due to a growing nursery, the North Central Nursery
staff asks that parents of small children please
label everything in your childs diaper bag
(including bottles, wipe boxes, and snacks). Thank

Youth
Camp, June 9 - 13
Pastor Aaron is collecting money for Youth Camp
08. All students interested in going need to pick
up a registration form, fill it out, and turn
it in along with your money ASAP to guarantee
your spot. The cost is $105 if paid by May 7th,
and $115 if paid after. Being the first camp of
the summer, it will fill up fast, so get your
money in quick.
Parking
Request
We would like to ask all attendees to please park
only in designated parking places. Parking
in fire zones and driveways is a safety hazard
and could obstruct emergency vehicles. Thank you
for your understanding and cooperation.

Our services

the Foyer to place your order. Payment must be
made up front. The cost is $2.50 for either
