"Time with Family
and Time with God"
We are challenging every family of North Central
to make 2012 the "Year of the Family"
and to designate one night a week for family time
with a devotion. Christ should not just be in
the church, but in the home and if Christ is in
the home, He can have the greatest impact on our
lives. Weekly devotions entitled "Family
Night" will be available near the Route 54
check-in for families who will accept the challenge...
to put God first... to make Him the center of
their lives. Our goal is to see more family devotions
than family divisions. Join us this year as we
have "Time with Family and Time with God."

attend the auction!
Guest Speaker - Gracia
Burnham
Sunday, February 26th, 9am & 11:15am
We are privileged to have Gracia Burnham,
former missionary to the Phillipines, share her
story of courage in the face of extreme persecution
and adversity. For 17 years, Gracia and husband,
Martin, served with New Tribes Mission in the
Philippines where Martin was a jungle pilot delivering
mail, supplies and encouragement to other missionaries
and transporting sick and injured patients to
medical facilities. While celebrating their 18th
wedding anniversary, they were kidnapped by a
militant group of Muslims and held in captivity
for 376 days. They faced near starvation, constant
exhaustion, frequent gun battles, coldhearted
murder-and intense soul-searching about a God
who sometimes seemed to have forgotten them. Come
and hear her incredible story!
The "Voice of the
Matyrs" Regional Conference
Saturday, February 25th, 8am - 5pm
We are hosting The "Voice of the Martyrs"
Regional Conference. This one-day conference will
feature speakers from various countries around
the world who were persecuted and imprisoned for
their faith in Christ. Speakers include Daniel
Scot from Pakistan, Bob Fu from China, Getaneh
Getaneh from Ethiopia, and Gracia Burnham from
the Phillipines who will also be speaking for
us the following Sunday morning, February 26th.
VOM is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian
organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted
church worldwide through providing aide, evangelistic
tools, and a platform to share their testimonies.
This ministry, founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard
Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist
Romania for his faith in Christ, is based on Hebrews
13:3 "Remember them that are in bonds, as
bound with them; and them which suffer adversity,
as being yourselves also in the body." To
register, go to vommeetings.com.
Annual All Church Business

a great way to grow in Christ and make good friends
in the process. We urge you to consider getting
involved and be a part of one of of our excellent
classes. They meet every Sunday at 10:15am.
"Elements"
Bible Study
Wednesday, February 15th, 7pm
The Oasis Youth will be joining our Adult Bible
Study in the Sanctuary for Pastor Larry's monthly
study series entitled, "Elements." It
is a powerful study on the foundations of our
Christian faith. Bring your Bibles and don't miss
it!
Building Fund
We are excited about the future of North Central.
We are growing in numbers and reaching more and
more people for Jesus Christ. As we continue to
grow, we look to the future to add more buildings
to our campus which will allow us to better meet
the needs of our congregants and reach more people
in this community. A few months ago, after much
time and prayer, God gave our leadership the Vision
for our final campus (you can see it in the Foyer
near the Welcome Center or click
here). Now we need the finances. Although
construction is becoming increasingly more costly,
we are believing God to provide what we need to
see this Vision come to fruition...and He will
as He's already done time and time again. We pray
you will "Catch the Vision" and be a
part by giving a special offering toward it. Mark
your envelopes "Building Program" and
it will be sure to find it's place. Thank you
in advance for all you do and, with God's help,
we will see it come to pass in the near future!

In an effort to make our Events Table more convenient
to everyone, it has moved to the Foyer near the
Route 54 check in desk. Stop by, see what's going
on and GET INVOLVED!
Missions Wall
We at North Central believe in missions! We believe
in the "great commission" to go a preach
the gospel to everyone. But have you ever wondered
what missionaries and missions organizations your
giving goes toward? Have you ever wanted to put
a face with the name of a missionary your giving
supports? Stop by our new Missions Wall located
in the north hallway near the restrooms and see
and be sure to remember as many as you can in
prayer as they continue to spread God's Word.
Volunteer Opportunity
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you like to
talk on the phone and have a few minutes each
week to do so? Do you remember what it was like
to go to a new church and wonder how to get plugged
in? If so, we need your help in ConnectionPower,
the ministry of contacting our guests and visitors
and helping them "connect" with the
church and others. See Pastor Steve for more information
and get involved!

Holy Grounds Coffee
Shop
One of the things people seem to love the most
about our new facility here in Spring is our Holy
Grounds Coffee Shop. Most everyone loves the aroma
of coffee brewing and the ability to order and
enjoy premium coffee drinks and sweets. We are
blessed to have such a benefit available but it
does take volunteers to make it run smoothly.
We are thankful for those who give of themselves
to serve in this ministry but they can always
use additional help. If you would be interested
in learning more, stop by and sign up on the clipboard
at the coffee shop or contact Roger Luther at
roger.luther@yahoo.com. It will be greatly appreciated
and the Lord will bless you for it!
"Special Delivery
Meals" Ministry
Having a new baby is a wonderful blessing
to any family but can make things around the home
a little more difficult during the transition
period. Sometimes, families just need a little
help while they learn how to adjust for that new
precious life. "Special Delivery Meals"
is a ministry to do just that, assist families
with new children with meals for a couple of weeks
while they work out "the kinks." If
you enjoy cooking and would like to be a blessing
to a family in need, be a part of this special
ministry. For information on how to get involved,
contact Cassie Minihan at 832-794-9933 or flick.cassie@yahoo.com.
Not only will it be a blessing to a family in
need, it will bless you!
Spanish Translation
Ministry
North Central has a Spanish translation ministry.
If you or a family member needs this service,
stop by the Welcome Center in the Foyer and check
out a headset. This will only be offered in the
Sunday 11:15am service only. For more information,
contact the church office.
